Payroll Processing: Accurately and efficiently process bi-weekly / monthly payroll for all employees, including calculating wages, deductions, and taxes. Ensure timely submission of payroll to ensure employees are paid on time. Verify timekeeping data and address any discrepancies. Prepare and process payment to employees.
Record keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee payroll records. Prepare and submit all necessary payroll tax reports and filings to federal, state, and local authorities. Reconcile payroll accounts and ensure accuracy. Generate and analyze payroll reports for our clients.
Clients Relations: Address clients inquiries and concerns regarding payroll matters. Research and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly and efficiently. Maintain confidentiality of clients payroll information.
Additional Tasks: Stay up-to-date on changes in payroll laws and regulations. Training and support clients when necessary. Being revenue generation oriented Perform other duties as assigned.
Process invoices accurately and efficiently.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors.
Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions.
Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and issues.
Assist with other finance-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications
A minimumofHND / Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or any other related field.
Experience:
1 - 2 years of experience in payroll process
Requirements:
Proficient in payroll software (e.g Sage Pastel Payroll, Sage 300 People, Seamless Payroll etc). Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and priorities.
Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations.
