Payment & Settlement Officer at Acepaid Technology

Job Overview:

The role of the payment and settlement office is a fully remote position within Acepaid technology finance team, in this role, you should have demonstrated knowledge of how payment settlement circle works, end to end, ensuring efficiency and excellence in the fast-paced fintech sector at minimum 2 years in same or similar role.

Responsibilities:

• Processing Settlement to customers
• Monitor disputed transactions for possible fraudulent activity and report to Management.
• Ensure to be active to attend to assigned payment during work shift
• Inter-company transactions analysis
• Work closely with moderator for validation and banking issues or payments partners for effective resolution 
• Work in a team of other payment settlement officers and ensure all payment patterns are duly followed.
• Provide relevant information to management on all invalid transactions.
• Work closely with the customer success team on investigation and recovery of unsettled transactions with customers and banks.
• Verify the incoming and outgoing payment reports
• Identifying and understanding customers trading patterns 
• Daily payment summary, design and structured with details and accuracy for spreadsheet entries

Qualifications:

• Advanced education degree is preferred but not required;
• Female preferably between age 20-28
• 1-2 year’s experience in the same or similar role at a fintech or financial institution;
• Comprehensive understanding on the operational aspects of mobile payments, and the banking industry.
• Excellent analytical, research, verbal , written communication skills
• Adaptability to global operational needs and ability to work in a rapidly changing business and regulatory environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft office tools
