Job Summary:
The Patient Support Officer will be responsible for providing professional, compassionate, and timely support to patients and their families throughout their healthcare journey. The role involves assisting patients with inquiries, coordinating services, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive patient experience while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a key point of contact for patients and their families, providing guidance and support.
• Assist patients with inquiries regarding appointments, hospital services, procedures, and billing.
• Coordinate with relevant hospital departments to ensure patients receive timely and appropriate support.
• Address patient concerns, complaints, and requests professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
• Follow up with patients to ensure their needs and concerns are adequately addressed.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and documentation.
• Support patients with navigating hospital processes and accessing available services.
• Collect and document patient feedback to identify areas for service improvement.
• Promote a positive patient experience and uphold the hospital’s customer service standards.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with applicable healthcare policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Social Sciences, Nursing, Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in patient support, customer service, healthcare, or a related role.
• Experience in a hospital or healthcare environment is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
