Packaging Procurement & Vendor Manager at Eloquent Touch Solutions

Role Summary

We are looking for a Packaging Procurement & Vendor Manager who understands packaging inside out. The ideal person will manage our outsourced packaging jobs end-to-end: interpreting client requirements, sourcing the right vendors, negotiating costs, and ensuring quality delivery on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Requirements: Meet with clients/sales team to understand packaging needs for pouches, corrugated cartons, boxes, wrappers, and other packaging types.
• Vendor Sourcing & Management: Identify, onboard, and manage reliable vendors for different packaging jobs.
• Quotations & Negotiation: Get quotes from vendors, negotiate best prices and lead times, and maintain cost records.
• Quality Control: Ensure packaging produced meets client specs, brand standards, and delivery timelines.
• Job Coordination: Liaise between client, internal team, and vendor from job briefing to final delivery.
• Market Research: Stay updated on new packaging materials, trends, and cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements

• Education: OND or First Degree in any field. Background in Packaging, Supply Chain, or Marketing is an advantage.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in packaging - specifically with pouches, corrugated cartons, boxes, wrappers, plastic containers and other packaging types.
• Strong understanding of packaging materials, processes, and costing.
• Proven vendor management and negotiation skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to manage multiple jobs at once.
• Must be based in Lagos and willing to visit vendors/clients.
