Packaging Manager at ColdHubs Limited

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the production of reusable plastic crates.
• Coordinates the sourcing of raw materials for production.
• Communicates raw materials shortage to management.
• Coordinates routine injection mold machine maintenance and repairs.
• Ensures cleanliness and maintains a safe work environment within the production plant.
• Respond to problems by performing corrective technical or mechanical solutions.
• Maintains positive employee relations and adheres to Company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.
• Leads sales and marketing of reusable plastic crates.
• Identifies new markets and strategies to increase sales and marketing of plastic crates.
• Leads the Packaging Department, facilitates weekly departmental meetings, onboards new packaging staff/volunteers/interns and offers training.
• Reports to the CEO, COO and the CFO
• Resumes daily at ColdHubs Packaging Headquarters in Owerri, Imo State.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: University Degree or Diploma in Engineering or other related fields.
• Job experience: 5 to 10 years of solid, practical, and working knowledge in packaging with focus on injection mold production of returnable plastic crates.
• Languages: Excellent knowledge of English and another local language.
• Strong research and analytical skills, more agricultural packaging materials will be integrated.
• Self-motivated and trustworthy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Focused. Attention to Detail.
• Excellent organizational skills, as performance monitoring, will be done every quarter.
• Excellent computer skills.
