Packaging Inspection and Coding at International Breweries

Key purpose

This position performs activities related to inspection and coding optimisation and apply VPO principles. The Inspection and Coding Specialist must ensure a safe and healthy working environment and supports the installations of process control and relevant electrical systems, as well as to maintain, calibrate, repair equipment, optimise plant and associated devices to ensure plant availability and product quality.

Key roles and responsibilities

• Performs Inspection and Coding optimisation / approved modifications of process control & electrical systems
• Supports the installations of process control & relevant electrical systems
• Maintain, calibrate, repair equipment, optimise plant and associated devices to ensure plant availability and product quality
• Maintain a safe and healthy working environment by complying with safe, health and environment, all procedures and legislation and also maintaining safety and housekeeping standards
• Maintain, calibrate, repair equipment and optimise plant and associated devices
• Work in teams
• Apply the VPO principles and practices

Minimum requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or advanced certificate
• Computer Literate
• 3-4 years as a technician on high-speed packaging lines
• 3-6 months on the job training
