    Outreach and Business Development Coordinator

    Role Overview

    • The Outreach & Business Development Coordinator will be responsible for identifying opportunities, building prospect databases, managing outreach activities, coordinating sales conversations, maintaining CRM records, and supporting the company's growth efforts.
    • The ideal candidate should be highly organized, process-driven, comfortable communicating with decision-makers, and passionate about helping a growing company attract new business opportunities.

    Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation & Prospect Research

    • Identify and research potential clients, sponsors, partners, and collaborators.
    • Build and maintain prospect databases.
    • Source leads across corporate organizations, SMEs, educational institutions, associations, event organizers, and public sector organizations.
    • Maintain accurate records of contacts and opportunities.

    Outreach & Relationship Development

    • Execute LinkedIn outreach campaigns.
    • Coordinate email outreach activities.
    • Support WhatsApp and direct outreach initiatives.
    • Build relationships with prospects and strategic partners.
    • Initiate conversations that lead to meetings and business opportunities.

    Sales Pipeline Management

    • Maintain and update CRM records.
    • Track prospects through the sales process.
    • Monitor follow-up schedules.
    • Ensure consistent engagement with prospects.
    • Prevent opportunities from falling through the cracks.

    Meeting Coordination

    • Schedule discovery calls and meetings.
    • Coordinate follow-ups after meetings.
    • Track proposal requests and ongoing conversations.
    • Maintain records of all interactions.

    Partnership & Sponsorship Development

    • Research sponsorship opportunities.
    • Identify strategic partnership opportunities.
    • Support relationship-building efforts with stakeholders and decision-makers.
    • Assist with proposal distribution and follow-up.

    Reporting & Documentation

    • Produce weekly outreach reports.
    • Maintain lead generation trackers.
    • Provide pipeline updates.
    • Document outreach activities and outcomes.

    Requirements

    Must Have

    • Strong communication skills.
    • Excellent research ability.
    • Ability to write professional emails and messages.
    • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
    • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
    • Familiarity with LinkedIn and professional networking.
    • Ability to work full-time onsite in Ikeja, Lagos.

    Preferred

    • Previous experience in business development, sales support, customer success, partnerships, marketing, or client relationship management.
    • Experience managing prospect databases and CRM systems.
    • Understanding of marketing, branding, events, media, or communications industries.
