    Outbound Sales Officer

    We are searching for Outbound Sales to join our fun, fast-paced, growing team and take on full responsibility for converting sales leads into customers. This position performs outbound calls to potential and current customers to qualify them as sales leads and convert them into actual customers. This position will require working closely with the Head of Growth to ensure accurate and effective conversion of sales leads.

    Outbound sales representatives perform sales tasks by initiating contact with prospects and customers. This contact often occurs by phone but may also involve electronic communication methods such as email. They identify leads and compile a contact list or obtain a prospect list from another source. They make cold calls to pitch products and services. They are responsible for making initial connections to give a preliminary pitch and gauge interest, and then convert these leads. They are expected to meet specified sales quotas monthly.

    Responsibilities

    • Make outgoing calls to potential customers to schedule high conversions for sales.
    • Guide potential customers to use the Sendbox for their shipping needs
    • Serve as Sendbox’s professional representative while dealing with customer communications: via phone, email, etc.
    • Lean and re-learn about Sendbox’s products and services  in order to identify customer needs when qualifying them and converting them.
    • Document each call as per company and departmental policies and procedures.
    • Follow up with potential customers in a professional and timely manner.
    • Demonstrate an aptitude for sales, be able to ask for the next meeting and suggest additional products or services to increase customer satisfaction and revenue.
    • Apply a positive customer service attitude in interactions with all customers. 
    • Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms with internal and external customers.
    • Report weekly sales goals and objectives to the Head of Growth Department

    KPIs 

    • Conduct at least 100 calls daily; reach out to prospects assigned on the CRM.
    • Convert 40% of the assigned leads daily into actual customers
    • Reach at least 60% of the leads assigned to the agents daily
    • Send weekly reports which includes (complaints/ comments from merchants, number of conversions (deliveries) recorded, number of leads reached) rtc.
    • Help Potential Leads navigate the Sendbox platform and make their first orders

    Requirements

    • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, or other relevant fields
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Tele-Sales/Marketing/Customer Success Personnel is required.
    • Proficiency in the use of MS applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook is required
    • Proven track records on cogent customer conversion in previous roles.
    • Analytical and multitasking skills
    • Good time-management skills
    • Great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
    • Negotiation skills
    • Reporting skills
    • Be able to establish a positive rapport.
