Job Responsibilities

• Design and review OSP project design drawings.
• Collect onsite survey data of the OSP project.
• Communicate with customers on design drawings as OSP engineers.
• Cooperate with the project team to push the project progress.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• 5-9 years work experience
• Have experience in the optical cable field. Have led or directly participated in large-scale optical cable projects (Backbone or Metro).
• Consultants for external optical cables, including design, construction, implementation, installation, delivery, splicing, and testing.
• Have a proficient knowledge of ODN network design, be able to design and check ODN network design diagrams and be able to identify potential design errors.
• Proficient in using office software such as AutoCAD, Google Erath, Word, and Excel.
• Have a proficient knowledge of optical cable products.
• Have a proficient knowledge of GPON and fiber networks.
• Have rich experience in optical fiber splicing tests. Be proficient in setting and using splicing machines, optical time domain reflectometers (OTDRs), and optical power meters. Have an in-depth understanding of the OTDR test report and be able to explain the abnormal events in the report.
• Have a proficient knowledge of fiber components, such as ODF, optical splitter, fiber distribution boxes, optical access boxes, cable connection boxes, fiber adapters, and jumpers.
• Experience in Huawei projects is preferred.
