Operations Trainee - NYSC at Fieldbase Services Limited

Job Summary

We work at the intersection of satellite, terrestrial networks, data centers, and private wireless supporting banks, corporates, critical infrastructure, and large-scale projects.
• We are looking for a highly motivated Operations Trainee (NYSC) eager to build a career in operations management. This role offers the opportunity to gain practical experience across various key areas, including operational processes, project coordination, and service delivery management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in coordinating and monitoring on-site operations to ensure projects are executed efficiently and safely.
• Help track project timelines, deliverables, and compliance with Fieldbase standards, reporting progress to supervisors.
• Ensure timely deployment of personnel, equipment, and materials to client sites, coordinating with logistics and field teams.
• Prepare accurate daily and weekly reports on operational activities, site performance, and resource utilization.
• Work with engineering, logistics, and administrative teams to support seamless operations and client satisfaction.
• Gain hands-on exposure to operational procedures, safety protocols, and project management practices.

Required Skills and Experience

• Currently serving in the NYSC program.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of attention to detail, reliability, and organizational skills.
• Willingness and aptitude to quickly learn and adapt within a demanding operational environment.
• Familiarity with operations management or project management principles.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards relevant to engineering operations.
• Proficiency in basic operational software, including MS Excel and MS Project.
