Operations Manager at Yerwa CleanTech Limited

Job Description:

The Operations Manager will play a crucial role in the success of our company by managing day-to-day activities, optimizing operational processes, and ensuring high-quality service delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Planning and Management:

• Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve business goals and improve efficiency.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient and timely delivery of cleaning services.
• Manage and supervise cleaning staff, providing training and support as needed.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and feedback.
• Conduct regular quality inspections to maintain high service standards.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and eco-friendly practices.
• Prepare and submit operational performance reports.

Team Leadership:

• Recruit, train, and supervise cleaning staff to maintain high standards of performance 
• Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and employee engagement.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to enhance staff skills and productivity.

Quality Control:

• Implement quality control measures to ensure consistent and high-quality cleaning services.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor service quality and address any issues promptly.
• Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally, ensuring resolution and customer satisfaction.

Financial Management:

• Manage operational budgets and monitor expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with the finance department to prepare financial reports and forecasts.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.

Client Relations:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer loyalty and retention.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with new and existing clients.
• Develop customized cleaning plans to meet the unique needs of each client.

Deliverables:

• Maintain a 95% or higher client satisfaction rate.
• Achieve a 98% completion rate for scheduled cleaning tasks.
• Implement at least two new eco-friendly cleaning practices within the first six months

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree/HND in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Fluent in Hausa, Kanuri, and English
• Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the cleaning or service industry.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work flexible hours and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
