Operations Manager at Sellafield Energy

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Operations manager is to coordinate and oversee company operations. Steering the company in an effective and efficient way that enables customer satisfaction and profitability.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure required training for field and supervisory personnel on safety, policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate business acumen (financials, linkage of quality/NDT impact to financials, problem solving methodology).
• Shall have overall responsibility for Business Development.
• Manage field service technicians and operational teams.
• Receive and analyze scope and specifications for works and services to be contracted, clarifies work aspects and verifies technical evaluation criteria.
• Review contract type and prepare tender document.
• Manage projects including the ability to manage multiple priorities while retaining high professional and ethical standards.
• Maintain office organization, oversee staffing and operations.

REQUIREMENT:

• Bachelor’s degree in any Science, Engineering or any other numeric discipline.
• Project/Business management certification.
• ASNT in at least two methods Minimum of 15 years cognate experience in a reputable NDE organization.
• Minimum of 5 years cognate experience in Operations Management level.
• Candidate should have participated as part of NDT Team in at least four (4) Pipeline/Facility Projects.
