Operations Manager at Cusorcart

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily marketplace activities.
• Work with vendors and internal teams.
• End‑to‑end order and fulfillment management
• Oversee daily order processing, picking, packing, dispatch, and handover to logistics partners; ensure orders move smoothly from vendor to customer and meet agreed delivery timelines.
• Onboard and manage local vendors and suppliers; visit markets and warehouses to enforce quality and service standards; handle vendor performance, lead times, and real‑time issue resolution on the ground.
• Logistics and delivery coordination
• Coordinate with in‑house riders and 3PLs to plan routes, manage delivery windows, and track on‑time performance; resolve failed deliveries, address issues, and cash‑on‑delivery challenges unique to Lagos.
• Inventory, reporting, and process improvement
• Monitor stock levels, run inventory and operations reports, and reconcile system vs. physical stock; define SOPs, track KPIs (cycle time, on‑time delivery, stockouts, returns, cost per order), and lead continuous improvement projects.
• Customer experience and cross‑functional collaboration
• Act as the main link between Cusorcart, vendors, logistics partners, and internal teams (support, marketing, finance, tech); resolve operational issues that affect customers and improve post‑purchase experience.

What you bring

Experience

• 2+ years in operations or marketplace management.
• Leadership & people management setting direction, delegating, coaching, resolving conflict, and keeping teams motivated.
• Data analysis & decision‑making reading dashboards, interpreting KPIs, and turning data into actionable decisions (e.g., cost, throughput, SLAs).
• Financial awareness budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and basic understanding of P&L impacts of operational choices.
• Problem‑solving & critical thinking diagnosing root causes, evaluating options, and implementing fixes under pressure.
• Organization & attention to detail tracking multiple tasks, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with policies and standards.
