Operations Graduate Intern (NYSC) at OVERWOOD

Responsibilities

• Assist in data gathering / data extraction from system data to perform analysis.
• Propose workflow to better enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Support in documentation of work procedures and creation of possible dashboards to monitor task activities and progress.
• Work with assigned manager to review the existing intermediary information database.
• Assist with cash/bank/investment reconciliation processes.
• Assist with Accounts Payable / Accounts receivable functions to ensure the timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Additional ad-hoc duties as assigned by Finance Operations Manager.
• Work closely with colleagues in business units and participants & issuers to meet business requirements.
• Participate in the ongoing effort to improve on the systems and processes to handle new requirements.
• Assist in updating of standard operating materials to document operational end-to-end process flows.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree qualification.
• Majoring in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Strong interest in exploring a career in Finance.
• Analytical and a natural problem solver.
• Able to collaborate across teams, but also work independently.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
