    Operations Assistant (Finance and Admin)

    Position Overview:

    • The Operations Assistant (Finance and Admin) will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of Peace Shapers’ administrative and financial functions.
    • This role combines finance management with administrative support to help maintain our organization’s daytoday activities.
    • The ideal candidate is detailoriented, organized, and committed to supporting the mission of Peace Shapers.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Finance Management: Assist in processing invoices, tracking expenditures, and preparing financial reports.
    • Administrative Support: Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, recordkeeping, and handling correspondence.
    • Compliance: Ensure financial and administrative procedures are followed, and assist with documentation for audits.
    • General Support: Provide assistance to the COO and other team members with project management and operational tasks as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • A degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
    • Previous experience in finance, administration, or operations, preferably within a nonprofit organization.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and financial software such as QuickBooks.
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial data.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
