Open Market Sales Representatives at a Multinational Consumer Goods Company

Summary:

We are looking for energetic, target-driven Sales Representatives with good knowledge of open markets, wholesalers and retailers. You should be comfortable working in the field, developing customers and driving sales within an assigned territory.

Responsibilities:

• Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.
• Sell and redistribute products to wholesalers and retailers.
• Prospect and activate new outlets to expand market coverage.
• Build strong relationships with traders and key customers.
• Ensure product availability, visibility and merchandising.
• Execute assigned routes and conduct effective daily sales calls.
• Monitor competitor activities and provide market feedback.
• Follow up on orders, payments and customer issues.

Requirements:

• OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (equivalent work experience will also be considered).
• 1–3 years' proven sales experience within Open Market and General Trade channels.
• Solid working knowledge of open-market dynamics and wholesale/retail sales operations.
• Strong selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence traders and distributors.
• Target-driven and proactive, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Proficient with Android smartphones and mobile sales/order-taking applications.
