Onshore Planning & Reporting Engineer at IOTA Group - Nigeria

Job Description

• The Planning & Reporting Engineer is responsible for building, monitoring, and analyzing the project schedule, as well as producing project reports (deadlines, progress, key performance indicators).
• He/She provide project Onshore Package management with a reliable and consolidated view of the project's progress tfacilitate decision-making.

Activities
Planning & Scheduling

• Develop and maintain the project schedule (levels 1 t4).
• Define the schedule structure (WBS, milestones, interfaces).
• Consolidate schedules from different disciplines and/or contractors.
• Identify the critical path, float, and delay risks.
• Propose schedule optimization and catch-up scenarios.

Progress tracking:

• Collect, analyze, and integrate actual physical progress data.
• Update schedules and completion forecasts on weekly basis.
• Analyze variances (baseline vs. actual vs. forecast) and identify their causes.

Reporting;

• Periodic reports preparation (weekly/monthly):
• planning progress,
• key milestones,
• performance indicators (KPIs),
• alerts and critical points.

Provide reporting inputs for:

• IMA Project overall integrated planning,
• Reporting tProject and LBU management,
• Reporting tpartners.
• Ensure the consistency and reliability of the data disseminated.

Coordination & interfaces:
Working closely with:

• Project Control / Cost Control,
• Technical teams,
• EPC contractors,
• Project management.
• Participate in project meetings (planning, coordination, reviews).

Methods & tools:

• Apply the project's planning and reporting procedures and standards.
• Proactively suggest improvements tmethods and tools.
