Job Description

• We are seeking a passionate and experienced Online Igala Language Tutor to teach our children the Igala language.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the Igala language, excellent communication skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching and inspiring young learners.

Position Details:

• Duration: 1 hour per class.
• Schedule: Flexible, to be arranged based on mutual availability.
• Mode: Online (via Zoom, Google Meet, or similar platform).

Responsibilities

• Teach the Igala language, starting from the basics and advancing according to the student’s pace and interest.
• Develop engaging lesson plans tailored to the children’s learning styles and goals.
• Provide cultural insights and context to enhance the language learning experience.
• Utilize interactive and creative teaching methods to make learning fun and effective.
• Track and report the children’s progress to the parents.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 2+ years relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in the Igala language.
• Prior experience in teaching or tutoring children is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching.
