Role Overview

• The successful candidate will host live and recorded radio programmes, deliver compelling content, engage listeners, and contribute to the station’s growing influence across traditional and digital platforms

Key Responsibilities

• Present and host live radio programmes with professionalism and strong audience engagement
• Develop fresh, creative, and relevant programme content
• Conduct interviews with guests, experts, and public figures
• Interact with listeners via calls, social media, and live participation
• Collaborate with production and marketing teams to grow audience reach and advertiser value
• Stay updated on current affairs, entertainment, and social trends
• Uphold broadcasting ethics and station standards at all times

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience as an On-Air Personality or in a similar broadcasting role
• Excellent voice delivery, diction, and communication skills
• Strong on-air presence with the ability to engage and retain audiences
• Creativity, confidence, and adaptability in live broadcasting situations
• Basic knowledge of radio studio operations and production tools
• Active and engaging presence on social media is an added advantage
• A degree or diploma in Mass Communication, Journalism, or related field is preferred
