Officer - Finance at FlexFilms

Job purpose:

• To ensure proper record keeping and reporting.
• To liaise with Factory teams and Head Office Management.
• To adhere to accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure delivering accurate and timely financial statements.

Technical and Behavioral Skills

• Knowledge of Accounting standards, principles and practices
• Knowledge of ERP - Oracle (preferred)
• Knowledge of Accounting consolidation and reporting requirements
• Knowledge of Company Legal and Secretarial matters.
• Able to generate creative/innovative solution in work solutions
• Ability to demonstrate customer service orientation both for external and internal customers
• Ability to foster team work (functional and cross functional teams) at a systemic level in the organization
• Display sense of accountability and ownership of work  and go beyond to achieve desired result
• Ability to tackle problem by using logical, systematic and sequential approach
• Display system and Process Orientation Approach
• Ability to communicate in logical and simple manner and develop shared understanding and consensus  on the specific goal/ objective.
• Ability to identify and implement change in the system

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• B. SC Accounts/Finance preferably with a Master degree
• Professional certification will be an added advantage

• Financial & Management Accounting (Tax, Insurance, Banking, Credit Control)
• Planning and budgeting
• Financial and Performance reporting
