Officer, Card Settlement at Stanbic IBTC

Job Description

• Timely Settlement of all required process on Visa and Pos transactions.
• Ensuring customer transaction is posted into appropriate GL accounts i.e. card accounts.
• Balance incoming and outgoing files daily.
• Apply entries to relevant Expense or Revenue accounts daily.
• Responsibilities for ensuring all necessary files are dropped into the Data Store on a daily basis.
• Ensuring merchant transaction are posted into appropriate GL accounts.
• Responsibilities for Card settlement with Visa and MasterCard via Interswitch and UPSL

Qualifications

• First Degree (BSc) Science or Social Science field

Experience: 

• 2-3years experience in Card transaction authorization, clearing and settlement processes will be an advantage.
• Comprehensive knowledge of banking transaction processes relevant to products and services offered to customers.
