Odoo ERP Developer at iRecruiters Africa Limited

• The Company is looking to hire an Odoo ERP Developer who will specialize in designing and developing Odoo applications to streamline business operations. S/he will work with various modules within the Odoo ecosystem, customizing features to fit the specific requirements of clients. S/he will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, integrating third-party applications, and ensuring that the Odoo system operates smoothly.
• The ideal candidate for this role must be proficient in programming with a deep understanding of business processes and Odoo’s architecture.

Key Requirements:

• Must have a degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of working experience as an Odoo ERP Developer.
• Strong knowledge of Python and programming concepts.
• Complete understanding of Odoo's basic flow.
• Knowledge of data models available in Odoo core.
• Proven expertise in developing custom modules in Odoo.
• Odoo Techno functional knowledge.
• Experience in developing the latest versions of Odoo and Excellent debugging skills in Odoo.
• Experience in migrating from the earlier Odoo version to the new version.
• Core knowledge about the current features available in Odoo – Sales, Purchase, CRM, Accounts, Inventory, Projects, Time-sheet, HR, etc.
• Knowledge in handling Odoo front end (XML and JavaScript).
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL with the ability to write SQL queries.
• Data import using Odoo import as well as custom import using Python.
• Knowledge of Version Control Systems like git.
• Knowledge of Linux-flavored operating system.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
