Occupational Nurse at SC Johnson (SCJ)

Overview:

• The purpose of this role is to be the key business partner for the Cluster Marketing Commercialization and Supply Chain teams.

Responsibilities:

• Provide effective First-Aid for employees, and refer serious cases to the hospital, including routine medical examination.
• Study and monitor the work environment and advise on proper sanitary standards, the health status and needs of employees
• Give counselling and general health education to employees and manage the site clinic
• Oversee the running of the fitness centre as a key venture for attaining balanced work life and keep fit.
• Organize and coordinate the First-Aiders programme together with effective utilization of the First-Aid Boxes
• To implement and comply with relevant health/environment requirements under the SCJ/S/H/E policy
• Direct supervision of premises housekeeping, canteen and other welfare facilities

Experience you’ll bring:

• A registered Nurse/Midwife
• Good knowledge of S/H/E standards and procedures
• 5yrs practical experience in Occupational Health in an industrial setting
• Training and/or Certification in Workplace Safety will be an added advantage
