    NYSC Finance Intern

    Role Summary

    • The Finance Intern will support the Finance Department in day-to-day accounting and financial operations. The role provides hands-on experience in financial reporting, reconciliation, expense tracking, and data management while ensuring compliance with internal control procedures and regulatory standards.
    • This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn about the financial management processes within the pension industry and to gain practical experience in a dynamic, professional environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist in the preparation and review of financial reports and statements.
    • Support the Finance Team in daily bank and account reconciliations.
    • Update financial databases, ledgers, and spreadsheets with accurate data.
    • Help monitor and track departmental budgets and expenditures.
    • Assist in verifying vendor invoices and processing payments in line with company policy.
    • Participate in the preparation of management and regulatory reports.
    • Support internal and external audit processes by organizing financial documentation.
    • Maintain orderly filing systems for all financial records and ensure confidentiality.
    • Perform other administrative and finance-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
    • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
    • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
    • Good analytical and numerical ability.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Willingness to learn and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
