The New Product Development (NPD) Application Technologist is responsible for developing market-leading products by researching, designing, and evaluating raw materials and packaging solutions. This role ensures seamless product commercialization, maintains compliance with industry standards, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and process optimization.

• Effectively manage and optimize departmental resources to meet or surpass all deadlines and business expectations.
• Drive innovation by developing new market-leading products.
• Conduct research, design, and assess raw materials and packaging solutions.
• Identify and source new ingredients to support the product innovation process.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in compliance with current standards.
• Collaborate closely with the Operations team to successfully achieve project goals.
• Perform research on food regulations and process validation to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Assess and enhance the sustainability of product design throughout the production process.
• Stay updated on emerging global technologies and industry advancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of proven experience in new product development and applications within FMCG, Food & Beverage manufacturing industries.
• Good understanding of Ingredient functionality, process optimization, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent research, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive product development initiatives.
