Job Description

• We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Node.js Junior Developer with 1 to 3 years of professional experience to join our engineering team. 
• You’ll help develop and maintain backend services that power our learning and enterprise platforms. You’ll work alongside a collaborative, remote-first team to deliver reliable, scalable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js (Express.js or Nest.js).
• Work with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver new features.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team-wide best practices.
• Support deployment, testing, and integration tasks as needed.

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of experience building backend applications using Node.js.
• Familiarity with Express.js, Nest.js, or other Node.js frameworks.
• Understanding of RESTful API development and database integration.
• Experience with version control tools like Git.
• Ability to write modular, scalable, and reusable code.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus but not required.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience with test automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Basic understanding of frontend development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Exposure to GraphQL or WebSockets.
