    NGO Hub Coordinator

    Reports to: Head of Programs / Head of Operations

    Position Summary

    • Qualified candidate will be working as a senior member of a diverse team to manage the coordination and implementation of the designated projects/Programs outsourced to the hub.
    • He/she will be providing leadership, strategic partnership and direction, resource mobilization/management and evaluation of all aspects of the Hub.

    Job Description
    Project Management:

    • Serve as middle man between MMF and International NGOs seeking to outsource some aspects of their humanitarian work in Nigeria and Africa at large.
    • Manage the day-to-day operations of the NGO Hub.
    • Oversee the overall implementation of the designated project(s) in partnership with international processes, provide consultation, assign relevant Project Officer(s) and ensure objectives are met within the required time frame and budget.
    • Spearhead project ideation, development and execution of project deliverables, budgeting, action plans etc.
    • Manage a comprehensive activity plan for the designated project(s), including resource needs analysis and resource mobilization.
    • Provide leadership and support Program Officers(s) in day-to-day decision-making as required.
    • Ensure that regular monitoring and evaluation assessments against project objectives are conducted and reports made to all stakeholders
    • Ensure swift, complete and timely monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of activities to international/national partners, management and other relevant bodies
    • Ensure all relevant documents related to all programs are produced and filed according to MMF guidelines

    Representation:

    • Promote MMF Hub initiative to interested government agencies, International bodies, CSR arms of multinationals etc and highlight the goals and benefits of partnership with the hub.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders (e.g. beneficiaries, community leaders, local and national government officials, donors, UN agencies and other NGOs) and represent MMF at relevant meetings (e.g. state and local government, sector-coordination and security) in order to facilitate and ensure cooperation and partnerships.

    Financial Management:

    • Sourcing for funding opportunities for running and operations of hub, preparing and following through proposals for resource mobilization
    • Plan and construct the budgets for the designated projects, in collaboration with the relevant program officer(s) in accordance with donor guidelines, ensuring that budgets are spent according to donor proposals and regulations and within the appropriate timeframe, making any adjustment recommendations to management.

    Staff Management:

    • Ensure all personnel-related issues for hub staff are properly managed. This includes recruitment, appraisal, objective setting, development and training, disciplinary action, etc.
    • Ensure that staff receive appropriate and adequate training by providing mentoring and coaching
    • Hold regular team meetings and, through a consultative leadership style and a transparent, honest and supportive communication structure, develop and build an effective team
    • Regularly assess and provide feedback and recommendations on the quality of the programs and interventions after field visits.
    • Manage volunteer recruitment, onboarding and operations.

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Master's degree in Business Management, Project Management, NGO/ Development management, MBA or any related course.
    • Minimum of 6 years NGO work experience with at least 2 years as an NGO coordinator or similar position
    • Experience in Proposal writing and pursuance, monitoring and evaluation
    • Proven business / managerial acumen
    • Leadership/project management/Adaptability
    • Initiative and negotiation skills
    • Result oriented, team player/builder
    • Good coordinating, Administrative, planning and presentation skills
    • Excellent written, oral and communication skills.
