    National RGB Manager(FMCG)

    SUMMARY

    Responsible for optimizing the production operations of RGB on a national scale. This position holds a central purpose in ensuring the efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality production while contributing directly to the brand\'s success, consumer satisfaction, and organizational growth.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensures the seamless functioning of the production process. This involves streamlining workflows, optimizing resource utilization, and enhancing production efficiency to meet or exceed production targets.
    • Define and communicate production targets, timelines, and performance indicators to the team.
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive manufacturing strategy aligned with the organization\'s goals, focusing on operational efficiency, quality control, and scalability.
    • Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
    • Continuously strive to enhance production efficiency by optimizing processes, minimizing downtime, and reducing waste
    • Implement cost-saving initiatives and monitor expenses to achieve optimal production costs.
    • Develop strategies for scaling production capacity as needed to meet market demand while minimizing capital expenditure.
    • Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure a seamless flow of raw materials and finished products, minimizing lead times and disruptions
    • Responsible for productivity improvement and for cost efficiency. 
    • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for RGB manufacturing, and hold plant managers accountable for meeting production targets and quality standards.
    • Take ownership of the manufacturing budget, ensuring expenditures are within allocated limits and justifying any variances.
    • Understands the monetary impact of raw material losses on product, line and business profitability.
    • Ensures controls and processes to minimize material losses are in place, respected and understood by the production team.
    • Ensures the achievement of the targets for the organization by optimal usage of labour, materials and capital investments.
    • Ensures that his/her team completes projects within the deadlines to provide the planned capacity to meet sales demand
    • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
    • Promote knowledge sharing and best practice adoption among team members
    • Build strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders to foster trust and collaboration.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • A minimum of Bachelor of Engineering Degree (B.Eng.) or HND in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
    • Minimum of 8– 10 years relevant hands-on FMCG operation and maintenance experience.
    • At least 3 years’ experience in a beverage bottling company in a managerial capacity.
    • Experienced in budgeting and people management 
    • Knowledge of bottling operations: Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Environment, Engineering, Health and Safety
    • Must Possess CMRP CERTIFICATION or similar Engineering certification will be an added advantage.
    • Experience in plant manufacturing operations, project planning & implementation.
    • Previous new equipment or line installation or extension could be an advantage.
    • Good understanding and experience of current WC manufacturing methodologies.
    • Good understanding of HQSE modalities and codes.
    • Good understanding of GMP and GHK (5S) standards
