National IT Manager at Alister Greene Consulting

Targets of the position:

• Create the technical infrastructure required for implementing the business in Nigeria.
• Prepare and manage the selection, implementation, and ongoing service of ERP, POS, and other important systems for all sites.

Specific Decisions and Responsibilities:

• Plan, oversee, and implement all technology operations (e.g., hardware infrastructure, software infrastructure, ERP, POS, …) in the distribution center and the stores.
• Develop and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by management.
• are to ensure adequacy, functionality, and efficiency.
• Identify the need for upgrades, configurations, or new systems and report feedback to management.
• Coordinate and supervise IT support staff.
• Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine the technology needed on an ongoing basis.
• Control IT budget and report on expenditures.
• Participate in the Administration Manager's Meeting and Management Meeting.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Engineering or an appropriate discipline is required. An advanced degree in a related field, such as computer science, engineering, and/or business (MBA), is strongly preferred, along with relevant IT certifications.
• Experience designing and managing an effective IT governance framework across the spectrum of IT service delivery is required.
• A minimum of 8 years of IT management experience, including 3 years of management experience, with demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and mentor others in a professional environment.
• Demonstrated experience with a wide variety of retail systems, digital tools, and other tools and integrations essential to an omni-channel retail brand.
• Experience with physical retail tools, including POS solutions and foot traffic measurement.

• Database query – SQL, MYSQL, 
• Software – Java, C++, Python and other languages
• Excellent Hardware maintenance and repair management
• Experience as a collaborator and consensus builder who can effectively lead change. 
• Extensive knowledge of information systems technology, business systems, system integration techniques, and corporate cyber security
• Significant systems project and information team management experience
• Experience in using collaboration and software merging tools
• Project management, Agile, or Scrum certifications will be an advantage.

Remuneration: ₦18m - ₦24m/per annum
