The primary function of this role is to provide expert-level support of Cloud Infra. Highly specialized in providing technical & proactive support to the customer network. Escalate & Liaise with Vendors & service providers for 4th line support until resolution. Support the provision of accurate reporting on the network to Ericsson teams, Vendors, and Customer, supplying technical/statistical data as required
What you will do:
Knowledge of Linux operating system commands, Cloud infrastructure OpenStack, Cloud native technologies (Kubernetes)
Perform maintenance, daily health checks, and solving of all packet core and Enterprise data network service nodes (MME, MPG, PCRF, DNS).
Knowledge of 5G Telco Cloud Infrastructure (NFVI, Edge)
Experience working on any of the Packet core network elements such as PGW, PCRF, MME, SGW, DNS, AAA, HLR/HSS, etc with vast use of protocol analyzers and solving tools such as Wireshark.
Knowledge of servers HW/SW and their characteristics in Service networks area
Maintain End-to-end internal Data security on the Packet Core / Enterprise Data Network.
Continual Constructive criticism of existing infrastructure with visible plans for improvement.
Ensure Key work is met: MTTR, Availability
Good understanding of Cloud technologies
Understanding of IP routing protocols and MPLS will be a plus
Automation experience through scripting knowledge will be a plus (bash, perl)
A background working with system architecture components, such as networking and software, is recommended.
Experience with Ericsson NFVI/CEE/SDI solution is a strong plus.
Working experience with other vendor's NFV solution is needed is also a plus.
Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems, scripting languages like Python, and cloud provider ecosystem.
Excellent attention to detail, as they must constantly monitor systems to ensure there are no external threats.
Working experience with configuration management.
Working experience with monitoring and notification systems.
Understanding of PowerShell, Cloud CLI, shell, Python, Bash.
Vulnerability and patch management.
Knowledge about ITIL an IT service management.
The skills you bring:
Domain experience: Cloud, NFVI, Kubernetes
Experience in Cloud, NFVI, K8, VMWare, and AWS is required.
Well-developed interpersonal skills.
BSC/HND within Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, or equivalent.
Certification in a red hat, Linux, AWS, Azure, CCNA, CCNP
Certification in ETCP Cloud
Good understanding of Ericsson NFVI Cloud .
Strong understanding of general Packet Core solutions for 2G, 3G and LTE
Knowledge of Packet Core Nodes like SGSN-MME, GGSN, PCRF, SGW/PGW
Understanding of dimensioning guidelines for Packet Core Nodes
GPRS, WCDMA, LTE Media and Signaling Interfaces (including 3GPP and non-3GPP)
Strong knowledge of wireless technologies (call flow), related protocols and telecommunication standards like 3GPP
