Mobile Application Tester at Tezza Business Solutions Ltd

Job Summary

• We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mobile Application Tester to join our QA team in Abuja.
• The ideal candidate will have solid experience testing mobile applications on both Android and iOS platforms.
• You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality mobile releases by performing manual and automated testing, identifying bugs, and collaborating with developers and designers to improve app performance and usability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for mobile applications.
• Conduct manual and automated testing of native and hybrid mobile applications.
• Perform functional, regression, usability, performance, and compatibility testing.
• Document and track defects using tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Developers, Product Managers, and UI/UX Designers.
• Ensure mobile applications meet business and technical requirements.
• Test API integrations using tools such as Postman or Swagger.
• Provide feedback on user experience and app functionality.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in mobile testing tools and technologies.

Requirements
Preferred Qualifications:

• B.Sc / HND in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• ISTQB certification or other relevant QA certifications (a plus).
• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mobile application testing.
• Strong knowledge of Android and iOS operating systems.
• Experience with testing tools like Appium, Selenium, Postman, JIRA, etc.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks is a plus.
• Good communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
