We are looking to hire a Middle - Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support our fast-growing network infrastructure. The Network Engineer will be part of a systems engineering team (Network and Communications Unit) responsible for designing and developing scalable, maintainable, highly available and secured network architectures that meet enterprise business objectives and SLAs.
Responsibilities.
Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, QoS).
Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN).
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
Monitor performance and ensure system availability, integrity and reliability.
Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
Work within the enterprise-established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team.
Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity and scalability.
Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness,
Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel within the Information Technology department for quick problem-resolution
Requirements.
Industry-related experience as a Middle - Senior Network Engineer or Network Administrator with proven hands-on network engineering experience.
Professional certification (e.g. CCNP, CCDP).
Creating a detailed plan for network architecture, diagnosing and resolving network problems.
In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF).
Solid understanding of network operating systems (JUNOS, Cisco IOS).
Sharp troubleshooting skills with an ability to work independently.
Organizational and mentoring skills.
Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model, hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools.
University degree in Computer Engineering/Science or a related subject.
At least 4 – 6 years of experience in network engineering.
