Mid-level Backend Engineer at PiggyTech Global Limited ("PiggyVest”)

About the Role

• We are looking to hire an experienced Backend Engineer to join our Engineering team. You will be responsible for the server side of our web applications.
• As a Backend Engineer, you’ll work closely with our Engineers to ensure system consistency and improve user experience. If you have excellent programming skills and a passion for developing applications or improving existing ones, we would like to meet you.
• Ultimately, you should be able to develop and maintain functional and stable web applications to meet our company’s needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality software design and architecture.
• Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.
• Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code.
• Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.
• Review and debug code.
• Perform validation and verification testing.
• Document development phases and monitor systems.
• Ensure software is up-to-date with the latest technologies.
• Ensure we build highly scalable server-side architecture.
• Directing software development projects.
• Producing, testing, and debugging code.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience (working in a fintech is a plus here)
• Good knowledge of NodeJS, Typescript
• Knowledge of Data structures
• Must be good at documenting code
• GCP knowledge is a plus.
