About the job
- Metering Engineer is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of gas and liquid metering systems in a gas processing plant.
- This role plays a critical part in fiscal metering, custody transfer, allocation metering, and regulatory compliance, directly impacting revenue assurance and operational efficiency.
- The Metering Engineer is responsible for the installation, calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of metering systems, ensuring they meet contractual, industry, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation & Control, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Certifications in metering, flow measurement, or calibration (e.g., API, hashtag OIML, hashtag ISO 17025, NEL, or AGA).
- 7 years of experience in gas metering, flow measurement, or instrumentation in a gas processing plant, LNG facility, or pipeline system.
- Hands-on experience with hashtag
