Merchant Engagement Executive at Konga Online Shopping Limited

About the Role:

• We are looking for driven and results-oriented professionals to join our team as Merchant Engagement Officers. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding our merchant network and ensuring merchants thrive on the platform through continuous engagement, onboarding, and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage merchants regularly via calls and store visits to drive activity.
• Provide strategic trading tips and performance feedback to help merchants succeed.
• Source competitively priced deal products weekly for platform visibility.
• Aggregate products for marketing campaigns and ensure representation.
• Onboard strategic merchants to the marketplace.
• Identify assortment gaps across all categories and propose initiatives to fill them.
• Resolve merchant escalations and relay feedback for platform improvement.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, for merchant exposure.
• Support merchants in managing their online sales effectively.

Requirements:

• HND/BSc in any field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in e-commerce or retail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good understanding of supply chain and procurement operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and think strategically.
