Merchandiser Supervisor at Superbrandz Global Distribution Limited

Key Responsibilities:

Supervising Merchandising Operations:  

• Oversee the visual merchandising and display arrangements in stores, ensuring products are visible and available at eye level with standard planogram  in line with brand guidelines.
• Implement merchandising plans for various categories and locations.

Inventory Management:

• Manage inventory levels, including ordering stock, conducting stock takes, collating near expiry report and coordinating with the sales team/ warehouse to ensure timely restocks.
• Ensuring product placement, right pricing on the shelve and promotions implementation.

Team Leadership:

• Train and supervise merchandising staff, providing guidance on merchandising standards, product knowledge, and customer service expectations.
• Coach and mentor merchandising staff to deliver product assortments that reflect branding, buying trends, and support seasonal customer demand.

Collaboration and Coordination:

• Collaborate with the NSM team to implement promotional strategies and events that drive sales and enhance customer engagement.
• Coordinate with store management and vendors to plan and execute promotional events or displays.
• Make sure product are merchandised with right planogram for all brands.  

Loss Prevention and Maintenance:

• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize shrinkage and ensure the security of merchandise.
• Coordinate with the store maintenance team to ensure that all display fixtures and merchandising equipment are in good working condition and meet safety standards.

Reporting :

• All product related issues, like OOS, near expiry report, and any observation in stores will be directly shared with  National Sales Manager managing the region.

Qualifications:

• Education: HND/BSC in a relevant field.
• Experience: Previous experience in merchandising or retail management is a plus.
