    Medical Procurement Officer

    Summary

    • The Medical Procurement Officer is responsible for delivering high-quality procurement services to both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with organizational objectives and legislative requirements.

    Responsibilities
    Procurement and Contract Management:

    • Compile reports, maintain communication channels, and handle tender documents.
    • Respond to procurement advertisements.
    • Conflict of Interest and Records Management
    • Coordinate declarations and manage contract administration.
    • Supplier Relationship Management
    • Maintain contact with suppliers and ensure compliance.
    • Handle payment requests and contract extensions.

    Data and Reporting:

    • Compile expenditure and satisfaction reports.
    • Support marketers with quotations and receipting.

    Purchasing Advice and Procurement Management:

    • Provide purchasing advice to management.
    • Manage procurements with approval.
    • Review credit applications for compliance.

    Training and Development:

    • Deliver internal training on procurement procedures.

    Qualifications

    • Candidates should possess B.Sc Degrees with 5+ years relevant work experience.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Strong organizational abilities.
    • Proficiency in ERP systems.
    • Knowledge of procurement regulations.
    • Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • Medical Procurement experience is desirable.
    • Certification in procurement or supply chain management advantageous.
