    Medical Officers

    Position Overview:

    The Medical Officer will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care, diagnosing and treating illnesses, and promoting overall wellness. This role involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and adhering to medical protocols and standards. This is a full-time position working 3 weekdays (night duty) and one weekend (saturday or sunday).

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Clerking new patients for admission
    • Managing outpatient department
    • Conducting thorough medical assessment and examination of patients; requesting ordered medical investigations for patients, collecting samples and following up with results of investigations
    • Attend daily ward round of patients and prescribe ordered medications following rounds
    • Prompt documentation of patients medical records on the EMR
    • Preparing discharge reports for patients
    • Preparing other clinical documentation
    • Educating patients and families about their ongoing medical conditions and treatment
    • Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patients care
    • Staying informed about advancements in medical practice and treatments
    • Adhering to medical protocols, standards and regulations
    • Other clinical tasks as assigned by relevant authorities

    Qualifications:

    • Medical degree from an accredited institution
    • Valid license to practice as a medical Doctor
    • Proven experience working as a medical officer or in a similar role
    • Ability to work independently
    • Experience in managing patients with chronic medical conditions independently with minimal supervision
    • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical procedures
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
    • Proficiency in using pharmacy management software and tools.

    Pay packages:

    • Net pay of 450,000
    • HMO after 3months
    • Performance incentive

    Candidates must reside within Lekki and environs

    Experience:

    • Working: 3-5 years (Required)

    License/Certification:

    • Medical Practitioner\'s license (Required)
