Medical Officer at Mudiame University

• Provide general nursing care to students, staff, and faculty.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Assist in minor procedures and emergency care.
• Monitor and record patients’ vital signs and health progress.
• Educate patients on preventive health measures, wellness, and hygiene practices.
• Conduct health talks and wellness programs for the university community.
• Maintain an organized and clean clinical environment.
• Ensure proper documentation and confidentiality of patient records.
• Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and equipment.
• Provide first aid and manage medical emergencies within the university premises.
• Assist in organizing and executing emergency drills and preparedness plans.
• Support health outreach initiatives to enhance the well-being of the university community.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
• Assist in preparing clinic reports for university management.
• Collaborate with other health professionals to ensure seamless service delivery.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in accordance with national nursing regulations .
• A bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• At least 2–3 years of clinical experience, preferably in a university or similar setting.
• Proficiency in first aid and basic life support (BLS) certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
