Medical Officer at Daniel Adewole Awe Medical Center (DAAMC)

Role Description

• This is a full-time role for a Medical Officer at Daniel Adewole Awe Medical Center located in Ilesa, Osun State. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing patient care to patients, including diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries, interpreting medical tests and referring patients to specialists when necessary. The Medical Officer will also work closely with other healthcare professionals and contribute to a team-based approach to care.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Registration certificate and valid annual medical license issued by Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria
• At least 2 years work experience post NYSC
• Any other relevant qualification is an asset

• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team-based environment, and to collaborate with other healthcare professionals
• Experience in providing primary medical care, urgent care and preventive care
• Experience in emergency medicine, ultrasound and surgery are assets
• A strong work ethic with a commitment to patient care and safety
• Willingness to learn and keep up-to-date with medical advances and technologies
• Proficiency with IT - desktop publishing, organizational email and cloud storage, virtual meeting and conferencing
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and telehealth.
