This is a full-time, On-site role based in Ama-Awji for a Medical Laboratory Scientist. The responsibilities include conducting advanced laboratory tests, ensuring quality control measures are maintained, and complying with established laboratory protocols.
The scientist will perform diagnostic evaluations in laboratory medicine, assist in pathology analyses, and maintain high standards in sample handling and testing.
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, the role also involves contributing to the research and development initiatives that align with DNALC Nigeria’s vision and mission.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Molecular Biology, or a related field is required. Professional certification or licensure is a plus
Proficiency in Medical Technology and Laboratory Skills
Experience in Laboratory Medicine and Pathology
Strong skills in Quality Control and adherence to standardized laboratory protocols
Solid understanding of molecular biology and biotechnology concepts
Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
