Mechanical Technician II at Habrams Energy

• We are seeking a Mechanical Technician II to support the execution of mechanical maintenance activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved work plans and site requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support mechanical engineers in the planning and testing of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.
• Assist with the preparation of proposals and cost estimates.
• Actively participate in applicable on-the-job safety tools and processes.
• Review job packs and identify safety concerns before commencing work.
• Ensure identified safety issues are appropriately removed or mitigated prior to execution.
• Execute mechanical maintenance activities in accordance with approved work plans.
• Record technical history and maintenance information using relevant systems, such as the Global Reliability Tool (GRT) and applicable data sheets.
• Provide feedback to the Execution FLS on opportunities to improve job packs.

Requirements

• Relevant mechanical/technical certification(s), where applicable, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly describe field conditions and recommend appropriate remediation steps.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively with individuals across teams.
• Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and changing priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
