Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment used in the feed and food production process. The role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring smooth plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, assemble, and maintain mechanical equipment and production machinery.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and repair faults in mechanical systems, motors, conveyors, and other plant machinery.
• Assist in the setup and calibration of machines to meet production standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company maintenance standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimize equipment performance.

Requirements:

• OND / Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Fitter in a manufacturing or feed production environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, rotating equipment, and plant maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
