Mechanical Fitter at African Industries Group (AIG)

Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site role located in Abuja for a Mechanical Fitter.
• The Mechanical Fitter will be responsible for machining parts, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring machinery is in good working condition.
• Daily tasks include fitting and assembling mechanical components, diagnosing and rectifying faults, and performing regular maintenance activities to ensure optimal machinery performance.

Qualifications

• Machining and Fitting skills
• Experience in Preventive Maintenance and regular Maintenance
• Knowledge of Machinery operation and troubleshooting
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Technical certification or mechanical engineering background is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous
