    Mechanical Enginer

    Job Description

    • Oversee the regular inspection, maintenance, and repair of all farm machinery, including tractors, harvesters, planters, and other heavy equipment.
    • Develop and implement a preventative maintenance schedule to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of all mechanical assets.
    • Diagnose mechanical failures and perform timely repairs in the field or workshop to ensure continuous farm operations.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and new technology adoption to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
    • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance work, repairs, and equipment performance.
    • Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in strict adherence to health and safety regulations.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
      8 - 10 years of experience, preferably in a processing plant.
    • Proven experience in a hands-on mechanical engineering role, preferably within an agricultural or heavy machinery environment.
    • Strong knowledge of farm equipment, diesel engines, and hydraulic systems.
    • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced outdoor environment.
    • Knowledge of health and safety standards.
