About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer (Level 3) to join our project team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing mechanical installations, preparing workshop and as-built drawings, and developing operational and maintenance manuals. This role requires strong technical expertise, site supervision skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with contractors and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and oversee mechanical installations and systems.
• Interface effectively with building contractors and sub-contractors.
• Report project variations and site instructions to the Project Manager.
• Conduct short-term procurement planning and raise material requests.
• Supervise site workers and assign tasks efficiently.
• Interpret and set out systems from technical drawings.
• Prepare material take-offs, shop drawings, and technical reports.
• Attend technical and coordination meetings and document minutes.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Promote energy efficiency, waste reduction, and environmental awareness.

Knowledge & Technical Competencies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in building services or construction projects.
• Professional certification or membership (added advantage).
