Job Summary

• Adkan Services Nigeria Limited is seeking a competent and experienced Mechanical Engineer to design, supervise, and manage mechanical systems within construction and engineering projects.
• The ideal candidate will ensure efficient system performance, compliance with standards, and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and oversee installation of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, etc.)
• Prepare mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical reports
• Review project designs to ensure feasibility and compliance with standards
• Supervise on-site mechanical works and ensure adherence to design specifications
• Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during project execution
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and engineering standards
• Collaborate with structural, electrical, and project teams
• Monitor project timelines and provide progress reports.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc./HND) in Mechanical Engineering or related fields
• Minimum of 4–6 years’ experience in mechanical engineering within construction or related industry
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and building services
• Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar tools)
• Good understanding of installation, testing, and maintenance procedures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional registration or membership (e.g., COREN, NSE)
• Experience working on residential, commercial, or industrial projects
• Familiarity with Nigerian engineering standards and regulations
• Experience in project supervision and coordination.
