Mechanical Design Engineer at Toptech Engineering Limited

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS

• 3-5 years work experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer.
• HND/BSc in Mechanical Engineering or suitable equivalent.
• Understanding of Plumbing, Fire-fighting and HVAC Systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
• Proficiency in common design software such as AutoCAD, REVIT, Carrier HAP and others.
• Must be able to work both autonomously or as part of a team to support the delivery of projects.
• Project management skills.

DUTIES

• Produce BOQs/BEMEs and detailed drawings for mechanical services projects as necessary.
• Oversee and supervise projects from inception to completion with the required installation and safety standards.
• Liaise closely with other professionals, including consultants (MEP and structural engineers), architects, in-house project teams in order to accomplish successful project completion.
• Negotiate with clients / consultants in getting the best deal for projects in terms of customer satisfaction.
• Negotiate with sub-contractors in getting the best deal for specific jobs to be handled by them.
• Generate different reports on projects as necessary.
• Prepare and make presentations for projects.
• Work on a variety of projects.
