Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and improving mechanical systems and products while ensuring compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components, systems, and assemblies using CAD software
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and bill of materials (BOM)
• Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and tolerance analysis
• Collaborate with electrical, production, and quality teams on product development
• Conduct design reviews and implement improvements
• Support prototype development, testing, and validation
• Ensure designs meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Assist in troubleshooting manufacturing and field issues
• Manage design documentation and version control

Requirements & Qualifications
Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.

Experience:

• 3 - 7 years of experience in mechanical design engineering (entry-level candidates may be considered)
• Experience in product development or industrial design is an advantage.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or similar)
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and engineering standards
• Familiarity with FEM/FEA tools is an advantage
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
