Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineer to oversee the design, coordination, and installation of building services systems across real estate projects.

Responsibilities

• The role involves managing HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical power distribution, lighting, and ELV systems.
• Prepare and review M&E designs, drawings, calculations, and technical specifications.
• Ensure all systems comply with regulatory standards, safety codes, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to integrate services seamlessly into building designs.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor installation quality and adherence to approved drawings.
• Review contractor submissions, method statements, and shop drawings.
• Manage testing, commissioning, and handover of all mechanical and electrical systems.
• Monitor project costs and support value engineering initiatives.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure timely resolution during construction.
• Maintain accurate documentation of installations, as-built drawings, and maintenance manuals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
• Professional registration with COREN and relevant experience in real estate or building construction projects is required.
